Folamour, can you tell me what adjustment Mantha of JoomlArt made to their template? My client's website is suffering from EXACTLY the same issue, same query, same behavior filling up the hard drive space. And despite what Brian said, you were right to insist that we solve the issue rather than its symptoms (a full hard drive). As you recall, the query kept happening, and the query would likely have taken additional hard drive space if you added it.
We are on Joomla 3 (trying to move 80,000 articles to Joomla 5), using a JoomlaShack template but are moving to a JoomlArt template. Knowing what the code change was in your JoomlArt template might help us not leave one template issue for another.
Any further insights you can provide would be welcomed. Our site randomly crashes as much as 5 times a day, and this is a live newspaper website, so it's important that we return to a stable situation. Thanks!
